Mrs. Lena Jones, 82, of 1026 Winnebago Ave., died today at 12:15 a.m. at Mercy Hospital, following an illness of one year.

She was born Nov. 10, 1875, in Fond du Lac County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Springborn. She was married in Town of Eldorado on March 13, 1899, to John C. Jones, who preceded her in death in 1933.

Mrs. Jones came to Oshkosh years ago, was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church and Women's Guild of the church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Erdman, Oshkosh; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Barber, Ripon, Mrs. Ida Priebe, Oshkosh, and Mrs. John Davies, Waukesha; three brothers, William, Ripon, Charles, Eldorado, and Fred A. Springborn, Oshkosh; two grand children, four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy and one sister, Mrs. Emma Gauger.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. B. H. Romanowski, pastor of St. Paul's-Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Monday afternoon until the hour of services.
