Willie Louise Warters was born on February 3rd, 1908, the youngest of six children borne to Thomas Lassiter Warters (1863-1938) and Willie Mae (Gholson) Warters (1873-1938) in Rome, Floyd Co., Georgia. The family lived in Rome, GA., where all of the children were raised. While a young girl, Willie was in a terrible street car accident which left her disabled from seizures for the remainder of her life. Her parents cared for her until their old age and then she was placed in a care facility where she lived out the remainder of her days, visited by her family as often as possible, for they loved her dearly. She passed from this life on Oct 19th, 1981 at the age of 73 yrs. Her remains were buried with her family members at Fairview Cemetery, La Grange, Lenoir Co., North Carolina. I know she is in Heaven, her new body forever young and undamaged, no longer plagued by seizures and completely restored for Eternity, for this is God's great promise. She was my paternal grandmother's little sister and my great Auntie. May she forever Rest in Peace in Paradise.
