Dillon-- Sudie Lambert Williams, 79, died Sunday in a Dillon hospital.
Services were to be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the Dillon Church of God, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, directed by the Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was to be held Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
Born in Georgetown County, Aug. 21, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Jack Lambert and Callie Lambert. She was a retired furniture merchant and attended the Dillon Church of God.
Survivors include her sons: Robert Matthew Williams, Jr., Clio, Leon B. Williams, Don Nell Williams, and D. J. Williams, all of Dillon; daughters: Estelle Simar, Iota, La., Maxine Hayes, Shelby Carter, and Callie Allen, all of Dillon; sisters: Mollie Williams, Myrtle Beach, Lina Jackson, Fork, and Ora Cribb, Salisbury, NC; 28 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
