Mrs. Catharine Leftwich, a highly respected woman who lived in the Hopewell community, died on Sunday and was buried Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Leftwich who was 78 years of age was a member of a pioneer Putnam County family and leaves large numbers of relatives and friends to mourn her demise. She was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and was greatly reverend and loved by all who knew her.
She was the w/o Samuel Alexander Leftwich, s/o Louis Temple Leftwich & Mary Elizabeth Cross.
