COCHRAN-Services for Wilmer "Buddy" Abney will be at 3 p.m. today in Cochran First Baptist Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Abney, 77, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999. He was supervisor of preventive maintenance, retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church, where he was former chairman of deacons. Survivors include his wife, Sara Abney; son, Ron Abney of Cochran; brother, Thomas Abney of Cochran; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. The family may be contacted at 609 Jessup St. Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
