Miss Burkhart retired Oct. 16, 1957, as a clerk for the Blair County engineering office after 40 years of service.
She was born at Sugar Run on Sept. 13, 1894, a daughter of George W. and Minnie Burkhart.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mabel L. Stitt of Lakemont.
Miss Burkhart was a member of First Lutheran Church, Altoona.
Friends will be received in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.
Services will be held at the Plank andStitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Glenn J. Stahl. Interment in Alto-Reste.
