Dora was born June 2, 1926, in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Fidel Guillermo Guillermety Rosalez and Maria Luisa Lloréns Quintero. She was a longtime resident of Bay View, Cataño, Puerto Rico, before moving to Tampa. She was a member of San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Bay View, Puerto Rico, and Incarnation Catholic Church in Tampa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesús Pérez Mandéz, as well as two brothers, Carlos Guillermety and Luís Guillermety, and three sisters, Angela Guillermety Mattei, Isabel Guillermety Villamil and Daisy Guillermety Lloréns.
She is survived by two brothers, Fidel Guillermety and Guillermo Guillermety, and one sister, Raquel Guillermety (Felipe) Rosaly Scott, all from Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her two sons, Rafael (Lupita) Pérez Guillermety of Arlington, Texas; Jesús Luís Pérez Guillermety of Tampa, and one daughter Lillian (Rolf).
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Rafael Joseph (Janna) Pérez Cantú, Carmen Luisa (Steven) Llacuna, Francesca Ana Pérez Buenteo, Ricardo (Bernadette) Pérez Cantú and Veronica Marie Pérez Buenteo; and four great-grandchildren, Caton Llacuna, Miles Llacuna, Gianna Rose Pérez De Leon and Izabella Carmen Pérez De Leon.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Incarnation Catholic Church, Tampa. (Excerpt from The Tampa Tribune).
