Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. today in Brownwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dan McPherson officiating.
Mrs. Henry, a native of Washington County, was a graduate of Sandersville High School and Georgia State College for Women. She taught school in Florida and was a former employee of the Navy Yard in Washington. She was the retired society editor for the Sandersville Progress newspaper and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sandersville.
Survivors include a son, Daniel C. Henry, Sandersville; two stepdaughters, Ida Mae Frontera, Jefferson City, Mo., and Hester Gatlin, Hoskee, N.C.; a brother, Charles Cason, Barnwell; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
