She was born April 19, 1909 in Emery to Arthur Magnus and Mary Sophia Neilson Abelin. She married Clinton C. Anderson Jan. 26, 1927 in the Manti LDS Temple and were together for 62 wonderful years until his passing.
She was a faithful member of the LDS Church where she served in numerous callings. She loved the Lord and she loved her family. She loved the outdoors, working in her yard and camping with her family.
Florence is survived by two sons, Preston C. Anderson of Emery; and Maurice and Christina Anderson of Carbondale, Colo.; daughter, Rene' and Arthur "Leif" Erickson of Emery; sister, Doraleen Gates of Salina; 39 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by husband; two sons, Bruce and Keith; one grandson, five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 4, 1 p.m., in the Emery LDS Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church in Emery. Burial will be in the Emery Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
