She was born on March 16, 1893, in Scottsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Scott Stone and Elizabeth Bridges.
Before entering the nursing home, she lived with a daughter, Dorothy Fararr of Greenwood.
Her husband, William Chester Mattingly, died on October 20, 1961.
In addition to Mrs. Fararr, she is survived by another daughter, Christine Stoneberger, of Indianapolis; six sons, Lee Mattingly of Acton, the Rev. Harry Mattingly of Indianapolis, James Mattingly, of Mount Vernon, Robert Mattingly, with the U. S. Army in England, Harold Mattingly of New Concord, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tygart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
