Ardmore — Funeral services for Helen L. Helms will be Friday, February 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. at CrystalRock Cathedral with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating. Rev. Charles Denney will be assisting. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Helen was born October 3, 1922, in Lone Grove to Oscar and Delia Wallace Denney, and passed from this life to heaven February 14, 2011.

She married Alvin J. Helms April 20, 1941, in Oil City.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; seven brothers; seven sisters; and one son-in-law.

Helen was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was always happiest when she was doing for others. Her family, friends and church meant everything to her.

Survivors include daughters, Norma Box and husband, Norris, and Betty Bailey, of Ardmore; grandsons, Michael Box and wife, Susie, and Norris Gene Box; granddaughters, Marcella Box, Lynett Pirtle and husband, Keith, Debbie Box and Tina Kemp and husband, Bobby; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary bearers are Jason Powers, David Ezell, Curtis Moore, Gene Jones, Ronnie Burns and Charles Buck.
