Roberta was born in Danby, Vermont, on March 14, 1923, one of 16 children, the daughter of Benjamin and Grace (Seamans) Parker, and attended Danby schools. Roberta's passion was painting pictures and was exceptional at oil painting for several years until her eyesight failed. She enjoyed reading, loved her home and cherished spending time with her family and friends. Roberta is survived by her son, Dallan Baker and his wife Barbara of Milton, Vermont; her stepson, Phillip Jordan and his wife Edie of East Arlington, Vermont; her brother, Nelson Parker of Tinmouth, Vermont; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, Robert Jordan, who passed away in 1977. Graveside funeral services for Roberta will be held in the spring in the family lot in Scottsville Cemetery in Danby, Vermont. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Roberta's memory may be made to the Arlington Rescue Squad, c/o of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, PO Box 957, Bennington, VT 05201.
