MRS JANE BAIRD DIES
Mother of Mrs Charles Curtis,
Washington D.C.
Mrs Jane Baird, mother of Mrs Charles Curtis (Annie); died at her home, 921 North Kansas Avenue, Wednesday evening.
Mrs Baird before her marriage was known as Miss Jane Dronberg and was born in Cherrytree, Pennsylvania, in 1835.
She came Topeka with her husband 50 years ago and had been a resident of this city ever since.
She is survived by three children; Mrs Charles Curtis (Annie); Mrs William Hunter (Henrietta), or Arcadia, California and Essington Baird of New Mexico.
Mrs Curtis has arrived from Washington DC to be present at the funeral, which will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the Kansas Avenue Methodist Church. Burial in the Topeka Cemetary.
