New Holstein—George Kobriger, 55, died Thursday evening at his home in New Holstein after a tree year illness He was born March 18, 1882, in Charlesburg, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kobriger, and on Nov 28, 1911, was united in marriage to Lena Klinkner of Charlesburg. The family lived there until 1918, when they moved to New Holstein.
Mr. Kobriger was employed by the Lauson Company as foreman in the governor department for 17 years, until he became ill. He was affiliated with Holy Rosary parish of New Holstein and was a member of the New Holstein Branch, No 266, of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Survivors are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Popp, of Black River Falls; two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Nick Schnurr of Marytown, and Mrs. Jake Wick of Chilton.
