Lila M. Ninmer, age 90, of New Holstein died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein where she resided for the past three years.

She was born February 24, 1915 in Clark Mills in Manitowoc County, a daughter of the late Hugo & Eva Gintner Christel. On June 9, 1937 she married Earl Ninmer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. Lila and her husband were co-owners of the Christel & Ninmer Automobile and Farm Implement dealership in New Holstein from 1947-1973. Her husband preceded her in death on November 4, 1973.

Lila was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and the Christian Women’s Society. She was also a member of the Daughter of Isabella.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy (Edward) Staub of Kiel and two grandchildren, Adam (Robin) Staub of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Heidi Jo Michel of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. The Rev. Harold Berryman, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
