Mrs. Martin M. Andrastek, 65, of 1218 Manila St., Manitowoc, died Monday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
at 10 a.m. at St Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James DeWitt
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Andrastek, nee Bernice M. Christel, was born June 20, 1908, at Grimms,
daughter of Ernest (Hug) Christel and the late Eva Gintner Christel. She was
married to Martin J. Andrastek July 21, 1936, at Manitowoc, residing at
Manitowoc. Prior to her recent illness she had been employed at Schuette Bros.
Co., Manitowoc, for eight years. She was a member of the Women's Council of
St. Andrew Parish.
Survivors include her husband, a son, (private), two daughters, (private);
her father and a brother, Leo, of New Holstein; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Nimmer
and Mrs. Edmund Kautzer of New Holstein and Mrs. Fred Raethert of Milwaukee and
four grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, where a
memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
