EVANSVILLE. Erling Hale Adams, 70, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at home following a brief illness. He was born on May 10, 1937, son of Hale and Florence (Shore) Adams. He graduated in 1956 from Blue River High School. Erling married Vicky George on Aug. 5, 1967, in the Brooklyn United Methodist church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, his friends, and especially spending time with his granddaughters. He worked for Zalk-Joesph Company in Stoughton until his retirement in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Vicky; a son, Pat (Ericka) Adams; a daughter, Jessica (Randy) Carlson; granddaughters, McKenzie and Lindsey Carlson, all of Evansville; his sisters, Mary Hudson and Laurie Wayne; brothers, David (Jane) Adams and Doug (Mary) Adams; brother-in-law, Danny George; 2 sisters-in-law, Marybelle Howard and Gaylene Pearson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard Adams and Charles Adams; sister, Nancy Cunningham; and his father and mother-in-law, Lee and Viola George. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at the UNITED METHODIST CHURCH , Evansville, with Dr. Luke Bocher officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Ward Funeral Home, 130 South 5th St., Evansville, WI.
