Mrs.Florence Culver, 89, of 553 W. Prairie Ave. died in her home at 3:30 am today.
She was born Aug. 24,1867, near Macon, a daughter of Robert and Martha Unroe Hight. She married John H. Culver, March 11,1886 in Macon.He died July 5, 1943.
Mrs. Culver has been a Decatur resident for the past 67 years.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. David (Elizabeth) Shellabarger, Decatur, a sister, Miss Nora Hight, Decatur, a brother,clyde Hight, Moweaqua, one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be 11 am Monday in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home with burial in Fairlawn Mausoleum. The family requests no flowers.
