Mr. Mallinger was a native of Remichen, Luxemburg, and emigrated to this country with his parents when a small child. They settled in the town of Belgium, and he spent almost his entire life in that community. On Nov. 22, 1860 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Kultgen, who together with seven children, survive him. The children are as follows: John and Anton of Chicago, Dom, Wm, and Mrs. P. Gessner of Milwaukee, Thomas of Belgium, and Mrs. N. Groff of Lake Church. Mrs. Cath. Croat of this city, a sister, also survives.
