Caroline Bruner, 90 of Nampa, died Monday, July 4, 1994 at a Nampa care center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 1994 at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Rev. George Evans of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
Caroline Bruner was born on October 17, 1903, at Hepburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Andrew and Margaret Unruh. At a young age she moved to Kansas with her family, where she was reared and educated. The family later moved to South Dakota. She married Percy W. Bruner on March 6, 1932, at Roswell, South Dakota, and they farmed in the Roswell area. In the Spring of 1940 they moved to Nampa to make their home. Mr. Bruner died on June 28, 1963, and Caroline has resided in Nampa since. She was a member of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
Caroline is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Elsa Bruner, Walnut, California; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Mae and Wayne Butler, Port Angeles, Washington; 2 sisters, Anna Stevens, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Margaret Koch, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 granddaughters, Wanda Bruner, Walnut, California, Sandie McTighe, Seattle, Washington.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
