Services for Edmond M. Herchman, 62, who died Thursday evening at his home in Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel in that city. Rev. Wendell Leach, pastor of Texas Street United Methodist officiated, and burial was in Wilbarger Memorial Cemetery.

He was the father of Mrs. Gary Sneed.

Born November 15, 1909 in Wilbarger County, Herchman was married on January 8,1930. He had been an employee of Lone Star Gas Company 27 years, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Jackson, Jr. of Vernon, Mrs. Larry Wright of Crowell, Mrs. Larry Everson of Paducah, and Mrs. Gary Sneed of Olney; four brothers, Arthur of Chillicothe, and Paul, Walter and Earnest, all of Vernon, three sisters, Mrs. Archie Phillips of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Acie Layton of Vernon, and Mrs. Dick Woosley of Ray City, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
