Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Henderson, who had been visiting their daughter at Portland, Oregon, started for their home here on April 4th. Mrs. Henderson, due to her advanced age, was very weak when they started and when they reached the home of their son Robert at Stillwater, she passed away on April 13th. The remains were brought here to Cordova for burial beside those of her two sons in Lake Gorman cemetery. It was a sad home-coming to their many friends in this community.

The deceased was born at Kitley, Ont, Canada, in 1841 and was therefore 74 years old. Her maiden name was Margaret Coughlin. In 1864 she was married to R. N. Henderson, and they came to Minnesota in 1871. Their Golden Wedding was celebrated on March 30th, 1914.

Mrs. Henderson with her husband had been spending the winter at Portland, Oregon, with her daughter. Her husband, two sons and four daughters, two brothers and three sisters survive. She was a member of the United Brethren church for 38 years, and a faithful wife and mother. Rev. Andrus conducted the funeral from the church at Cordova.

Robert Henderson, of Stillwater, Peter Henderson, of Dundas, Mrs. Thomas Tandy, of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Maggie Brewer, Oklahoma City, were all here for the funeral of Mrs. Henderson, their mother. Also Mr. and Mrs. Peter Coughlin, of Waterville.
