Emanuele "Augie" Giacche, age 92 years, died Monday, December 10, 2001. Mr Giacche was born September 29, 1910 in Auburn, New York. He was the husband of the Late Mary Ferro Giacche. They were wed November 24, 1935 and were married nearly 55 years. Emanuele worked as a machinist for Curtis-Wright Corporation in the Wright Aeronautical Division located in Wood Ridge, New Jersey where he retired. He moved to Louisiana with his wife in 1982. He is survived by his son, Nicola Giacche and his daughter, Rosalie Ritter. Also survived by his grandchildren; Kimberly Smith, Charles Ritter, Jr, Tracy Ritter, Nicholas Giacche, Nicole Giacche, John Giacche and their spouses and children. Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, December 13, 2001 at Schoen Funeral Home of Slidell with Father H William Reed - Officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 9:00pm Wednesday, December 12, 2001. Burial will be at Porter Cemetery, Pearl River, La.
