Funeral services were held for Larry Leon Black,66, of Tallulah with interment following at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.
Mr. Black died September 28, 2001 at his residence in Talllulah.
He was born in Newellton and was the son of the late Mr & Mrs William Hy Black. He was preceded in death by a brother Charles of Little Rock, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann O'Bannon Black of Tallulah; Three sons, Gary Black of the Woodlands, Texas, Steve Black of Monroe, William of Starksville, Mississippi; and by three daughters: Susan Burham of Winnsboro, Marilyn Black of Newellton and Connie Hankins of Newellton;two brothers Bobby Black of Jena and Donald Black of Waterproof.
