Antoine Cassou nicknamed Brisetout (Butterfingers) was a drummer in the company of Montacharveaux and arrived in 1730. A native of Couvre in the parish of St. Jussin, archdiocese of Paris, province of Ile de France, his parents were Antoine Cassou and Marguerite Pescheur. He married Catherine Corset in 1751, her father, Francois Corset nickname Coco, was born in Paris, her mother, Elizabeth Bienvenu. in Lorient in France. Antoine and Catherine had at least two children. Antoine is described in 1752 as being 40 years old, 5'2" tall, with blue eyes, his face pale and scarred by smallpox; he had eyebrows and hair of a chestnut color.
