Pops was born in Lee County, Virginia, to Evan and Lilly (Scott) Cook. Glenn grew up in Lee County.
He married Louise M. Davis and moved to Muncie where he spent most of his life.
He retired from Frank Foundries after 31 years and also worked for Kackies Heat Treat for seven years.
He was always helping others and had many friends.
He loved to fish, run his backhoe and build things.
He is survived by his five sons, Floyd "Joe" Cook (wife-Louise), Lloyd "Jack" Cook (wife-Connie), Everette Cook (wife-Liz), Jerry Cook (wife-Dawn), and Gary Cook (special friend-Minnie), all of Muncie; his special companion and friend, Mattie E. Long, Muncie; grandchildren, Todd, Little Joe, Ashley, Steven, Stephanie, Amanda, Audrey, and Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews; three sisters, Georgia Neal (husband-Clarence) of Bethel, Ohio, Wilma Taylor of Austin, IN, and Irene Robbins (husband-Charles) of Austin, IN; and one brother, Franklin Cook (wife-Bonnie) of Muncie.
