Sunday afternoon (June 27,
1965) at St. Francis Hospital after
a brief illness. She was the
widow of Eugene W. Petty who
died in 1936.
She was born July 29. 1879 at
Westons Mills, N.Y. but had
lived in Olean most of her life.
She was a member of St. Ste-
phen's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. William (Margaret) Gardner
with whom she had made
her home; two grandchildren,
six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call, starting at
2 this afternoon at the family
residence, 1113 Irving St, Olean
where funeral services will be
held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (June
30, 1965). The Rev. William
Greenfield, rector of St. Stephen's
Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Chestnut Hill
Cemetery at Portville, N.Y.
