Mr. Lowe was born September 11, 1921 in Lewiston, Michigan to the late David and Mattie (Mansfield) Lowe. He served with the 8th U.S. Air Force in Europe during World War II. He resided in Lansing and then Mt. Morris after graduating from Michigan State University in 1955. Mr. Lowe was retired from the State of Michigan as an auditor. He was also formerly employed by the Genesee ISD and Carman School District as a finance administrator.
He married Shirley Mosher in 1986 in Bay City. Surviving are: wife Shirley; son Leon (JoAnne) Lowe and by marriage, his son Terry (Pam) Clay; daughter Debbie (Victor) Bulliner; many special grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; sister-in-law; and best friend Donald Dodge. Mr. Lowe was also preceded in death by his son Michael; brothers Leon, George and Bill Lowe; and sisters Arbutus Schofield and Doris Lowe.
