3 Dec.He had been hospitalized for two weeks.He was born in Lewis Co Ky.
He and Mrs Messer resided at Raco for 37 years.He attened Pilgrim Holiness
Church.
Mr Messer is survived by his widow,Frances,three sons,Rev Carl Messer of Lansing
Herbert of Pontiac,and Ernest of Sault St.Marie,three daughters,Mrs Clyde(Gladys)Burnham
of New haven Conn.,Mrs Paul(Esther)Laplander of Sault St.Marie,and Betty Messer of Greenville Ill.14 grandchildren,a brother Elvin of New Boston oh,and a sister Nell Cox
of Greenup Ky.A son,Ralph,preceded him in death
Friends may call at the Hovie Funeral Home beginning at noon Friday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m.Saturday
