Rena was one of eight children, raised by their father, Joseph Miller Alexander Doyle, after the death of their mother, Hattie B. Hurst Doyle, in childbirth. She always faced the world head on. If you didn't want to know, don't ask her! She was a woman we greatly admired and loved. A woman ahead of her time, strong and resilient, adventurous. She placed others before herself and considered family the greatest gift God provided. She was a realist and took life as it came, never complaining, for she knew God would provide. Upon her death, she donated her body to the University of Kentucky Medical College for use in training young doctors. Her love for family, God and mankind was her final statement. And she has, in some way, passed this on to those who knew and loved her. She was a credit to the John Doyle Family, of Fleming County, Wallingford, Kentucky. Your family misses you.
Love, your nieces, Wilma Joyce & Bettie Colleen
