Mrs. Scholten died of leukemia Oct. 28, 1994, at age 76.
She was born June 2, 1918, in Remsen, Iowa. She lived in the Rogue River area, Scappoose, Estacada and Sherwood before moving to Portland recently.
She married Morris J. Scholten on Oct. 15, 1938. Mrs. Scholten worked in housekeeping at Meridan Park Hospital for more then 10 years, retiring in 1985.
In addition to her husband, survivors are her sons, John of Vancouver, Wash., and Dan of Portland; sister, Mary Stoos of Scappoose; brothers, Jerome and Edward Stoos, both of Iowa; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Interment in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Scappoose.
Arrangements: Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes.
