Mr. Antley was born July 30, 1929, in Charleston, SC, a son of Cecil R. Antley, Sr., and Thelma Catherine Bowick Antley.
He attended the Carnes Cross Road Church of God, was a member of Dorchester Lodge #369 AFM, and was a former contract employee for Dr. David Rodgers.
Mr. Antley enjoyed working in his flower garden, fishing, and listening to southern gospel music.
He was a sensitive man who would do anything he could to help a friend in need.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Antley and surviving are, his wife of 62 years, Colene Valentine Antley; daughter, Debra Wolfe and husband, Tim, of Moncks Corner; two sons, Cecil R. Antley, III, and wife, Gail, of Moncks Corner and Richard Antley of Hanahan; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a set of twin great-grandchildren on the way.
Entombment: Plantation Memorial Gardens.
