Clara Pullium, 77, of Andrews, died Monday, November 2, 1992, in a Charlotte hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Martha Beaver Palmer and the wife of the late Lee Pullium, who died October 13, 1992. She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of Andrews First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Alice Marie Ashe of Charlotte; two sons, Richard Lee Pullium Jr. of Murphy, and James David Pullium of Unaka; and three grandchildren, Mark Pullium of Clermont, Eric Pullium of Unaka, and Marcia Ashe of Charlotte.

Services were held Wednesday, November 4, 1992, in Andrews First Baptist Church. The Rev. David Roberts officiated. Burial was in Valleytown Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Harris, Don Raxter, Truett Gray, Giles Coffey, Lane Raxter, and Lynn Watson.

Memorials may be made to Andrews First Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 427, Andrews, NC 28901.

Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of all arrangements.
