Widener Leonard (b. 1822 in Virginia (census) d. unknown).

John was a regular customer of his brother E.M. Leonard at E.M.'s grocery circa 1900 with a craving for pigs feet and tobacco (store Ledger). The family engaged in farming and resided on Madison Street in Chattanooga. He died of dysentery on October 6, 1906 and is buried at Forest Hills Cemetery.
