Mrs. Alzina Barnes was a native of Mobile, Al and the daughter of Pacifico and Irene Antalan. Alzina was ordained minister of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the South Bay Congregation. Graduate of Central High School of 1964. She leaves behind a husband, Jimmie L. Barnes; her children: Benjamin (Chir elle) Moseley, Moni que (Horace) Knight, Dinean (Kenneth) Moore. She is the sister of Lamont Antalan, Raymond Antalan, Mary (La Vann) Callier. She also has five grandchildren Melody Campbell, Lebaron Knight, Ivy, Brittney, and Jordan Moseley. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and dear friends. Alzina fell asleep in death on March 14, 2011, surrounded by love ones. She will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 11:00AM at Pine Crest Funeral Home on 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy Mobile, AL 36605. Graveside service will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West on Snow Road.
