Sarah Acors Perry, 93, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Perry was a member of Fredericksburg Christian Church. She loved life, her children and flowers.
Survivors include her son, Billy Perry of Stafford County; five daughters, Betty P. Dickinson of Stafford, Joyce P. Nadeau of Spotsylvania County, Susan V. Surles of Stafford, Jean P. Herndon of Spotsylvania and Nancy P. Newton of Spotsylvania; 18 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her cat, Misty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie L. Perry; a son, Leroy Perry; and a daughter, Helen V. McKenzie.
The family would like to thank her sitters, Jessica and Christy.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Scott Covington officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
