Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Annie Lee Smith of Savannah, Mrs. Essie Mae Chance of Statesboro and Miss Ophelia Irvy of Opahock, Fla.; two sons, Herman Jackson and Clayton Irvy, both of Miami, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel AME Church, with burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Payton's Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
