Alvin C. Koerth, a well known and popular young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koerth, died at the home of his parents in the town of Holland, after a lingering illness.
The deceased was born in the town of Rockland in Brown County, April 26, 1912. In 1918 the family moved to the present farmstead in the town of Holland.
They young man was unmarried and is survived by the sorrowing parents, two brothers, Clarence and Orlo, and four sisters, Mrs. Meta Krahn, Ellen, Asulla and Janette Koerth at home.
He was a member of the Kasson Lutheran congregation. The funeral was a very large and was held on Easter Sunday, services being conducted at the home and at the Kasson Lutheran Church, Rev. E. Schoeneke officiating. Interment was in the Bluff cemetery.
