John Tamm Manitowoc Herald Times November 19, 1930

John Tamm passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hattie Krueger, Saturday morning. He had been ailing for two weeks, death being due to pleurisy, and if he had lived until Sunday would have been seventy-three years of age.

The deceased was born November 16, 1857 at Waukesha, Wis., and at the age of three years came to Brillion with his parents, where they settled on a farm. In 1884 he was united in marriage to Miss Christina Bastian, and the young couple resided on a farm near Brillion. His wife preceded him in death ten years ago. Mr. Tamm retired from farm life six years ago when he came to this city to make his home with his daughter. He has always been active and in excellent health.

The only survivors are his one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Krueger and one brother, Frank C. Tamm, both of Brillion, two sons having preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at the Krueger residence, and at the Brillion M E Church, Rev. Hoffmann officiating. Interment was in the Bluff cemetery.
