Ammons Fox, well known Wayne Township farmer, died at 6:30 AM Thursday, October 13, 1955 at his home near Brock after an illness of three years. A lifelong resident of the Brock community, he was born July 5, 1878/9 at Mt. Morris, a son of the late Benson and Mary Ammons Fox. He was a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church at Brock. Besides his wife, Clara Husk Fox, to whom he was married in 1900, he leaves one son, Raymond Fox of Spraggs RD 1, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Clark of Waynesburg, and a brother, Morris Fox of Spraggs RD 1. One sister is deceased.
