He is buried Sunfish 103 Cemetery, Morrow County, near Mt. Gilead, OHIO.
When tombstone was found in 1986, his tombstone was broken and laid in a fence row. Not sure where it belonged, but would assume that it was within 10 feet of where it lay.

UPDATE: 1988. Visited the graveyard with my mother, Catharine Harriet (Keefer) Mellott to show her the tombstone of Benjamin Mellott and took another picture.

UPDATE: 1 Jun 2004, Cemetery visited by Dale & Esther Mellott and tombstone is now placed in the ground near where it was found. The bottom 2/3 of the stone was there with no top. We found the top left piece of the tombstone with others near a tree near the gravesite. The top right piece is now missing. This is based on the picture we made in 1988. This top left piece was placed with rest of the tombstone.
