Auto Drag Car Driver. Born in Los Angeles, California, he was dubbed "Wild Willie" and was one of the original AA/FA drag race drivers. Together with partner Al Marcellus they were known as the "Winged Express" , won the AA/FA class at the Winternationals (1967-68) and Borsch ran a then first best time 7.11 seconds at the 1970 U.S. Nationals. He is listed in the National Hot Rod Association Hall of Fame as one of the top 50 drag racers of all time and was posthumously inducted into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 1992.
