Mrs. Goldie Haas, 56, Dies in Hospital Following Long Illness.
Mrs. Goldie Haas, 56, of 1026 Orange St., died at 3:55 a.m. today at Coshocton Memorial hospital following an extended illness.
She was born in Coshocton June 23, 1895, a daughter of William and Kisiah Jackson Clough and was married in 1911 to Jacob Haas, who died in 1932.
The survivors are two sons, Albert Haas, Coshocton and Kenneth Haas, Newcomerstown; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Valenzuela, of California; one brother, Oscar Clough, Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Retzler, Coshocton Route 1 and Mrs. Nora McAbier, Jewett, O., and three grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the Dawson funeral home with Rev. John Shanley, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until time for the services.
