Mary "Molly" Warden was the second daughter of Charles and Mary Warden ; Mary was a scholar and a teacher in Auckland where she lived with her husband Clifford Thomas Brooking also a teacher and their son Thomas Warden Hastings Brooking who is now a professor at Otago University, Dunedin, New Zealand. Charles would be proud to know that his daughter and her family carried on the education tradition.
