Services for Henry Grady George, 69, of Moulton Heights (Decatur 1) were to be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Moulton Height Baptist church.
The Revs. W.W. Coffey and W.H. Quesenberry were to officiate. Burial was to be in City Cemetery, Brown Funeral Home of Tuscumbia in charge. Nephews were to serve as pallbearers.
Mr. George lived at Moulton Heights with a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Cagle. He died at noon Tuesday in Colbert County Hospital. He entered the hospital Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack. It was reportedly the third attack he had suffered in the past six weeks. He had been in Sheffield visiting a son, Leldon G. George.
Surviving are two sons, Leldon G. of Sheffield, and Don R. George of Arlington, Va; one daughter, Mrs. Cagle; one brother, John T. George of Birmingham; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Snodgrass, Hartselle, Mrs. Nellie Broadway, Oilton, Okla and Mrs. Sally Lake, Chattanooga; and eight grandchildren.
Mr. George was a native of Morgan County. He worked with L&N Railroad about 20 years and Sheffield before retiring. He had worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
