1901 February 2 Saturday -
Jacob ENOJARVI and Isaac NISKA, two miners employed at the Atlantic mine, were instantly killed by a mine blast yesterday. They entered the mine before giving time for the fuse to set off the blast. Mr. ENOJARVI leaves a wife and one child. Mr. LISKA was a single man. Both funerals will be held Sunday afternoon from the Finnish church at the Atlantic mine and the burials will be at the Atlantic mine cemetery.
