GERALDINE "JERRIE" BECKETT, 79, of Huntington went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. She was born January 28, 1926, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Floyd and Edith Patterson Arbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Beckett; two brothers, Frances "Whistle" Arbaugh and James Arbaugh; two sisters, Donzella "Donzie" Arbaugh and Kathleen Rayburn. She is survived by one daughter, Edith "Eddie" Hanley, with whom she made her home; one sister, Madeline Sheppard of Melbourne, Fla.; one brother, Leo Arbaugh of Barboursville; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Huntington Chapter 807, VFW 1064 Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 16 Auxiliary. I would like to thank Dr. Yingling and his nurse, Laura; Dr. Jane Kruez, Cabell Huntington Home Health, Hospice of Huntington and too many friends to be named, Thank You.
