GERALDINE "JERRIE" BECKETT, 79, of Huntington went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. She was born January 28, 1926, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Floyd and Edith Patterson Arbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Beckett; two brothers, Frances "Whistle" Arbaugh and James Arbaugh; two sisters, Donzella "Donzie" Arbaugh and Kathleen Rayburn. She is survived by one daughter, Edith "Eddie" Hanley, with whom she made her home; one sister, Madeline Sheppard of Melbourne, Fla.; one brother, Leo Arbaugh of Barboursville; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Huntington Chapter 807, VFW 1064 Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 16 Auxiliary. I would like to thank Dr. Yingling and his nurse, Laura; Dr. Jane Kruez, Cabell Huntington Home Health, Hospice of Huntington and too many friends to be named, Thank You. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and her four legged friend, Tashie. By Jerrie's request, there were no visitation or funeral service. Wallace Funeral Home is assisting the family
