ADCOCK
Helen J. Adcock, 85, of Monroe, died Feb. 21, 2004. A native of Walton County,she was a daughter of the late Noble and Maude Wofford Jackson. The widow of Lamar Adcock, she retired as chief clerk from the Agricultural, Stabilization and Conservation Service after 33 yrs.
She was a member of the Monroe First Baptist Church. Funeral services were held February 23, 2004 in the chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home. Rev. Glen H. Money & Dr. Todd Ware officiated and interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery, pallbearers were Ned Michael, Johnny Michael, Trey Adcock, Rick Morse, Blake Adcock and Chip Pledger.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Mary Dalton; one sister and brother-in-law: Jimmie Ann and Glenn Shellnut of Jefferson City, TN; two bothers and sisters-in-law: Russell and Jimmie Dean Jackson and Joe and Agnes Jackson of Monroe; six grandchildren; Kaye Morse, Jan Adcock, Trey Adcock, Jon Adcock, Blake Adcock and Allyson Adcock; twelve great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorials are requested to the Monroe First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 351, Monroe, Ga. 30655. Arthur Bowick, Inc. Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
