I, J. Wathen, manager of this memorial am distantly related to George. His uncle, Henry Wathen, is my 2nd great-grandfather.

MOUNTAIN HOME - Services are pending at Bey chapel for George Wallace Farlow, 85, of this community, who died at a hospital Christmas morning.

Born Dec. 5, 1874, in Sterling, Neb., he was married in 1897 to Eva Weatherwax, who died in 1911.

The following year in Gooding, Kan., he married Jessie M. Eagan. The couple moved in 1914 to Emmett and two years later to Smiths Ferry, where they lived until moving to Mountain Home in 1938.

Mr. Farlow attended the Assembly of God church here.

He is survived by his wife and nine daughters: Mrs. Myrtle Nedrow, Boise; Mrs. Ola Hone, La Grande, Ore.; Mrs. Doris Thomas, Pasco, Wash.; Mrs. Hilma Voss, Columbia, Mo.; Mrs. Maxine True, Boise; Mrs. Kathryn Campbell, Vacaville, Calif.; Mrs. Betty Lou Wheeler, Presque Isle, Maine; Mrs. Georgie Porter, Kassel, Germany; and Mrs. Jureta Manfredi, Mountain Home. Three sons preceded him in death.

Mr. Farlow also leaves 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Beaver, Eagle Rock, Calif., and Mrs. Rovia Cleland, Morcatur, Kan.
