Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Brother; Eugene Walter Foley, and Sister; Teresa Villarreal.
Jake is survived by his loving wife of 47 years of marriage; Graciela Foley, three sons; Jake Foley III and his wife Sarah, Phillip Foley and his wife Lisa, Jason Scott Foley, grandson; Phillip Michael Foley, his Step-father; Cristobal Manzano, 2 half-brothers; Manuel Manzano, Leroy Manzano, 1-half sister; Irma Manzano.
Jake loved to serve his community in the Delta Area. He was a police Officer and a member of the Rotary. He took an active role in Politics because he also strived in making his community a better place. He was an avid Jacket Fan and had immense pride in going to football games and chanting "Viva La Maquina".
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 1 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Guerra Funeral Home of Elsa "Chapel of the Angels". Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park of Weslaco, TX.
